Can anyone recommend a specific product (preferable on Amazon if possible) that will seal and waterproof bamboo poles that's aquarium safe? I had bamboo in an aquarium in the past and it was a mold magnet.
I read that polyurethane is food safe once it is fully cured, so I would assume that it is fish safe too, but I think it takes 30 days for it to cure fully.
It might be easier and cheaper to buy some lucky bamboo's. They are not real bamboos but stalks of the Dracaena. Looks great in the aquarium. Just the top leaves need to be above water.
