    removing algae from decor

Soaking them in a bleach solution say 20:1 water to bleach would probably do it.... If not add alittle more bleach and just let it soak. Just be sure to rinse everything good afterwards and also let them soak in some water with alot of dechlorinator in it for awhile to neutralize any bleach left...

Prime how do you use it?

I think it mentions on the bottle that each thread in the cap is about 1ml (1ml treats 10 gallons)...So add a capful (5ml)then a alittle more to get over acouple threads in the cap and you should be good to go.

    Nitrate and PH problems... Help!

Your probably fine then with your water conditioners then... I would still consider either going to 100% tap water or to the 50%-50% RO and tap mix just for the fact as it would make water changes easier and faster.

    Nitrate and PH problems... Help!

I am just saying it converts it to a safer form of ammonia yet it can still be used by the good bacteria in the tank...but is safe for fish. Alot of tests will still show the converted form as regular ammonia...when in reality it is a false reading. Maybe someone else can explain it better......

    Opinion on Fish-In Cycle Please

Vacuuming the gravel shouldnt hurt anything as most of the good bacteria will live within your filter... as waste builds up in your gravel and decays it will produce more ammonia and that is not a good thing while doing a fish-in cycle. Just do as mentioned and keep ammonia and nitrites at...

    Nitrate and PH problems... Help!

When testing your tap water pH let some sit in a shallow dish over night and then test it...this will give a true pH of what your tap water will be once it is in the tank....many times it will test much lower after it sits out.

    New German Gold Rams

They will be fine once they settle in.... My GBR's have never been aggresive eaters...They just swim around and get what they can..but then they are smart enough to move to the bottom and start feeding while all the other fish are still waiting for stuff to fall in thier face :)
