Well, it looks like my tank is finally cycled with the betta...ammonia and nitrites have been 0 for a few days now (saw my ammonia spike end a week ago, and my nitrites were showing up regularly since)...so it looks like it's time to add another few/school of fish and let the tank mini-cycle...

Just a little update... Still in my nitrite spike...hopefully next week I'll be through the cycle and just hafta worry about mini-cycles as I add new fish. Bought some Hornwort, a Colosseum thingie, and redecorated the tank a bit. Just need some foreground plants and I should be good. Not...

Sure did :) Beat my ol' 12/13 gallon (50 liter) any day, and considering my filter needed replacing and I wanted a submersible heater anyways, the upgrade wasn't a hard choice. :)
