My guess is RB doesn't think the innocents can afford to lose both the detective and doctor and still stand a chance. Since I've been such a twit and making a target of myself trying not to, he decided to do a pre-emptive change and give it to someone that can use the role better before I go...

For some reason RB changed the roles around. I was the detective, now I'm not and only a mere innocent, and I can safely reveal what I knew.

I don't know how much of his list is correct...but I do know that at least part of it is wrong.
