Put him back in about 10 minutes ago and I've already caught him nipping. I'll leave him in there a few days to see if he decides to leave the two new females alone or ignore them and to keep from stressing him out. =/ Silly fish. May have to return him.

I did the search, came up with nothing helpful. I'm dumbfounded because he was nice with the first female.... =/ He's been in the other tank all day. I'll switch him back after a water change.

I picked up two red platies (both female) to fill up my 10 gal #2, round out my platy group, and take some agression off and hopefully embolden my gold crescent female (she's been hiding almost constantly for the last day or two). The new pair acclimated well. While in the bag they were ignored...

They both look good. But Christmas Moss is more sensitive to temp (78 is high for it) and since it's the beginning of what looks to be a hot summer I'd be wary of buying abd killing it. They both look good, but I would go with the Christmas moss if you feel you can care for it.

Goto Walmart and buy a large glass jar. Some hold almost 4 gallons, are easy to decorate, don't distort your view of the fish, and only cost about $7. Keep a desklamp above it, throw in some hornwort (cut a stem into 4-5" sprigs and keep in a room that gets some sun) for cover and hiding...

My lastest mercy buy. Found him at Walmart, shoved to the back of the beta rack. Very pretty fish and an amazing fin. :D

I really want a Zebra (Emperor) Pleco. They get to 7" and cost about $200 but they're realllly pretty.

My newest rescue! I found him today at WalMart. :D He's one of the first white bettas I've seen and possibly the best choice out of all the other fish there. Someday I'm going to buy the whole betta rack at Walmart just to save them.

I'm going to return my five danios to the store to make room in my 10gal #1 for a few bigger and slower fish. I want to replace them immediatly so the tank's cycle doesn't crash from a diminished bioload. I'm going to get two or three cory cats. They're small, they school, they're peacful and...

They sound really awesome :) I'm picking up two or three of em per tank this week. Glad to hear they're fun to watch. Can you show us pictures? I'm curious about what changes I'll have to make to my tank layout to keep them happy.

These don't seem that humane... or at least not comfy for fish. Too bad they look nifty. Basicly it's a 4' or 7' (20 and 30 gallons respectivly) that are 31" high x 6" deep. Wall Aquariums Thoughts?

Bettas have actually been found fully grown in the flooded hoof prints of watter buffalo. Not that I'd suggest trying to emulate that.

I want to use slate to make caves and shelfs for my fish/plants/frogs/snails to live/hide/feed on but I'm not sure what will happen to my filtration. Am I going to lose half of the tank to dead spots or will everything be okay?

How much to blackworms cost? I need to get some for my ADF's since they havn't gotten much food aside from the fly I cut up and tweezered to them last night.
