Thank you...
By far my female is the nicest bichir I ever owned so far.
For us, we do bare bottom on this tank because it requires less maintenance. Feed once a day, siphon out left over food and top the tank off. About 20gals of water everyday water change.
Kinda... I like to use sand...
Grade A++++ service and great costumer service. Make sure you provide a accurate phone number (Petsalution LOVES to call). Really easy to get a hold of the to. Great place to order from.
Yep, that's it. Didn't want this tank to have a over flow on it. I had three spare FX5's and no sump, pumps and pluming....so I opt to cover the holes.:dance2:
Thanks for the comments.
Really......No sand paper.!!!!
It's the best way to clean glass. 1000grit sand paper would do the trick. I have done it for ever on cars with hard water deposits rain marks and what not. IT WORKS....
Wet sanding....try it on a piece of glass if you don't want to try it on the tank.
I was looking at the signs and symptoms of dropsy and your betta might not have that.
You said the scales on the head looks compacted with powdered sugar, which i think is a fungal infection. And you also said the betta is also coming down with a case of bloat.
I would treat it as fungal...
