once the stand is level yes it can just float as you put it. the bottom glass of aquariums do not touch the stand that its placed on. they sit on the rim of the aquarium.

i have been researching co2 regulators for A WHILE :rolleyes: now and have come to these two (2) choices as to what i can purchase and would like your input on them as to how they have worked fro you if you have had them or if i should just get the milwaukee from amazon :wall: first choice...

you could probably turn the heater sideways and push it down about 3/4 the way down... you are probably going to turn the power off when you are doing your maintenance/ water change so just in case you dont turn off the power the heater will be safe ...

if i might add you could look at getting another penguin 350 for the other side of the tank ... the more filtration the better plus it`s always good to have two (2) just in case one goes down.. just a suggestion.
