I have a large angel who is the boss in my 80G He will eat whatever fits in his mouth, but I have many schools of tetras in with him and they are safe in schools with lots of plants for them to hide in. Also as long as your angels are fed enough they should have no interest in sushi :)

I have 3 fancy goldies in a 30G tank and to keep the fish healthy and the water clear and within parameters I do a 50% water change every 3 days. I plan on getting a 60G or bigger for them after christmas.

have you tested your water? Anything out of the ordinary recently? filter media change etc?

I have oodles of different tetras and they all inter-mingle nicely. neons, cardinals, black neons, glowlights, glass bloodfin all hang out together. The larger tetras like red eyes and bleeding hearts keep to their own kind mostly but also only fight with their own kind.

bleeding hearts are beautiful. They will be more aggressive with each other in small numbers so 5 or more is recommended.
