I never had any luck with Cuprasorb. I used it in a tank that had been contaminated with copper from a brass plumbing fitting. It has been my ehiem filter for about 15months and I check it regularly. I still can't keep any inverts in the tank.

Maracyn will kill cyanobacteria. And not effect your beneficial bacteria. I have had a cyano outbreak in 2 of the 3 tanks I have setup. Treated them all with Maracyn with out changing anything else and never had the cyano show back up again.

Not much to brag about here. My 75g has a Eheim 2217 with foam, subsrat pro and then filter floss. Also a Rena Xp3 with foam, the ceramic rings, then filter floss and a AC 70 full of floss.
My 10g has a AC 50 and 20 with foam, biomax media and a lot of floss. The floss really slows the...
He would have had a hard time finding his way in there. And no he's not staying. Going to put him back with his buddies.

Yes I believe it did. Its the only explanation as to how it got here. The tank as a few dwarf cichlids and 3 angels. Over the past 2 years, I've found one or two poor neons dried out on the carpet. So its not the first time they have have gotten airborne

Lol, yeah I agree. I figure it jumped out of my 75g, which is about 8'' away from the 10. And it managed to land between the hood and the filters. Which is like a 2'' gap. Must be the luckiest neon ever lol.

So, I just got home from work and spot something a bit odd in my 10g, that I setup a month ago. I had just recently stocked it with peacock gudgeons and glow light tetras.
I'll post a pic and see if you can figure out what I found that was odd. (Hopefully its not blurry)

I do not believe its harmful to the fish. I do weekly water changes regardless just for the wellbeing of my aquatic friends. Even if its only 25%

The discolored water might be tannins leaching from your driftwood since you have went longer with out a water change.

I wanted to get some opinions before I decide whether or not to pull the trigger on some dwarf corydoras.
I have a heavily planted 10g that is currently stocked with 2 juvenile peacock gudgeons and 5 glowlight tetras. The tank is filtered with a AC30.
Do you think a small school (3-4) of...
Sounds exactly like my 75g. I have 3 marbled angels, 14 neon tetras, 11 rummynose tetras, 2 Bolivian rams, 1 kribensis, 1 curvicep cichlid and a bristlenose pleco.
So far the angels haven't bothered any of the tetras. The angels are about 5 inches long now and I added them when they were...
I would be interested in a smaller package if that's doable. Maybe something in the $10-15 range.

I agree with ppetropulo. I have had 2 different dwarf gouramis in the past and they were both very aggressive. I now have a pearl gourami in the tank with no issues at all.
I have used maracyn to get rid of a BGA outbreak and monitored my ammonia levels closely afterwards. I had NO detectable ammonia spikes using a liquid test kit. So you should probably be ok

Thanks for all the compliments! I am using Black Diamond blasting media for my substrate.
Right now the tank is pretty heavily stocked. I did add a small school of Rummies and Im planning on adding about 6-8 more, but that's all my LFS had at the time.
Currently stocked with
17 neon tetras

In my heavily plant 75g, I have 2 pearl gouramis, 2 bolivians rams and 2 German blue rams and have never had any aggression issues. The gouramis chase my black skirt tetras around more than anything.
So it probably just depends on the temperment of the gouramis
