i'm new with saltwater aquariums, but i decided to get a protein skimmer since i've read that i'd help alot. Most of them, however, are for larger tanks like 100Gallons+. Is there a good kind of protein skimmer for 40gallon tank?

The medication lasts for one apparently, so no. Well, i only check for ammonia and it says 0.5 so yeah. And i already added the copper 2 days ago, so i don't want to change anything drastic because it might stress him more.

External parasites; gill flukes. He was doing fine (hasn't been stressed in two days), after feeding him thawed cooked cocktail shrimp, he seemed to have been stressed again. Could the shrimp trigger his stress?

After treating my puffer with coppersafe to rid him of possible external parasites, it seems that my puffer seem to blind. Is this possbile? or is my puffer just not responding to me?

He doesn't breathe heavily. Only sometimes i think, if i turn the bubbler off. Oh yeah, sometimes, if i turn the bubbler off, he tires to eat any bubbles he sees in the surface as if it were food. And the if the white thing falls of after he swims is it wouldn't be a parasite right?

my puffer does scratch on objects, and flashes sometimes. Maybe, perhaps this might lead to Gill Fluke, so as a precautionary action i just wanted to be safe.

wait, um. I'm not 100% sure if this has to do with anything, but if i turn my lights on my puffer fish's belly turns grayish black, if i turn it off,it's belly turns white. Does that affect the classification of Gill-Fluke? Or is it just a normal puffer thing?
