It's a good idea to check out the source water parameters of the new location in case it's drastically different. Do you have gravel or sand substrate? Sand can be a bit messier if you're moving and reusing it. That'll just require more rinsing/water changes/filter floss when you get there...

It's doable. It'll be hard to bring every fish... I'd just get some sponge filters seeded, little battery powered air pumps, and some plastic totes. It would just be easier to mail them, though.
