the heater was set at 72 and the temp was at 79 im pretty sure thats no good lol. anyway brought it back to the LFS and got a refund so i bought another one and its doing its job properly. I ordered some plants and some tiger+cherry shrimps there suppose to be here thursday so can't wait for...

Why if i have my heater set at 75 my temperature is at 78? is it a defective heater? its suppose to shut off but the light keeps on. I have a digital thermometer how accurate are those? could that be my problem?

my parameters are pretty stable as for temperature i still need a heater since i sleep with AC on. Average room temp during the day is 74.3

I'm gonna run some tests later today again and see my results. also going to try and get some pics :)
