So for future reference, when using this 2 gallon tank for quarantine, is there really any benefit at all to having a biofilter in there if regular water changes will be necessary anyway? Seems like 3 fish with very little feeding are too much load. If I have to do water changes every other...
I will do the water change, but I do not understand what you are saying. A smaller volume does not allow the biofilter to work properly? Sorry to sound dumb here, but I want to understand why the biofilter is not sufficient to process the ammonia.
