I understand I need to post all the intricate details of my tank setup and what is in them in my post. I can do that but please bare with me if I lack any info in those areas.

Yah I thought that was interesting as well. Not trying to say your wrong or anything just thought I would share my findings :) and I totally get what you are saying. You have helped me out as usual FRANK CASTLE Rocks!! I was just thinking the very same thing about finding out the actual...
I went on Seachem's site and they said that PolyGuard it is NOT plant friendly, but then I talked to them and while they can not advertise it being plant safe (do to too many variables to test) they have had personal experience with the ParaGuard and it was safe with plants.
Thank you for all your input. The only thing is I can only kick it up a notch so far because I have plants and snails. So I notice now that my emerald cory has rapid swimming and fast gill movement. He is acting like he is on crack I can't see anything physical on him so could it be flukes...
Hi Frank!! Very useful info. I talked to my local Fish expert earlier and he says paraguard or anything blue for that fact can hurt live plants but then I talk to others and they say it is safe. I will go look up polyguard to learn some more about it. I like the idea of having something with...
Also before I knew they were a schooling fish I had a green emerald that was single and was just fine. Honestly he was the happiest healthiest fish I have ever had. :) I really appreciate your help but I don't prefer hobbyist on this site to actually tell me what to do. I ask for advice but...
Hello. Yep after I took the pic I looked at more reference pics and it is indeed fungal. Umm.. yah about the corys.. she is schooling with emerald green corys well was. I try to make sure my fish are happy. ;) anyway back to topic.. umm. I am doing research for the best treatment options...
Ok so the numbers are 0 ammonia 0 nitrites barely 5 nitrates. 7.8 pH as always
So I finally caught a decent picture of the Rummy Nose. What do you guys think it is?
My fish just do not feel well. I am afraid whatever this white thing is - is just laying around waiting to go into something...
UPDATE: I just found a white spot on one of my rummy noses nose. It looks like a small white cotton ball. What now?? Help I don't know how to treat with plants in there... did any of this come from the crappy snails I added to the tank?
Hello - Ok let me give you all the quick scoop on my 20 gal.
All my tetras are staying really close to the bottom of the tank and they don't swim a lot.
They also seem pale especially some of the black neon tetras. I don't know what is going on.
They act like - well you know when you clean your...
Hello thanks for responding. So yah I stripped down the tank except for a few things he leaves alone. I thought the java moss would be fine. So I started a bonsai tree affect and what do you know? Little butt head pulls all the moss off. So I had moss and brown sewing thread everywhere...
So I am doing the good ole tank shuffle. I found a girl down the road that wants to give me her 55 gallon but it's full of gouramis. Would my red hump geo be ok with those tank mates?
Hey! So I read many places that the RH Geo rarely bothers plants. Even my fave fish guys at my store said my guy would be fine. So I switched my entire 65 gal tank over to live plants. Gosh I have Cryptos, Hairgrass, anubias, java moss, s. repens, Pruensis, Ludgwigia Broadleaf, and dwarf...
That's exactly what they seem to be doing. Two of them I got from a whole different store are doing ok. I love Anubias so is there a way to make the transfer easy on them from container to water?
