Dump the inline heater. Buy a 2180 with inbuilt heater. 2078's go fine inline no issues whatsoever but its necessary to run them manually in any instance (not just online)

Eheim's are the top of the heap. Fluvals apart from the FX5 which is a good filter are frankly ...rubbish. The G6 is a gimmick wrapped in a marketing brochure and clogs up constantly while allowing massive bypass.

The Marineland 530 is made by Sun Sun for Marineland. They sell their version (either under SunSun or the Perfect brand) as a HW-304B at about 1/3 the price.

They wouldn't do that it goes against everything the Chinese companies do. I'd say its a production issue, they have thousands of one particular size and they are going to use them up come hell or high water. Thats the kind of thing you do see often with the Chinese Aquarium companies.
