    Algae destruction

Nothing is EVER 100% chemical free. A chemist can easily tell you this. The elements you see in the periodic table... and everything you see is based on these elements. These elements are a form of chemical. Thats all I'll say :D I hope that there a chemist who can explain better why nothing...

EERRRRR... what the heck is this

Hydra! They are cool lil thing. Doesn't pose a threat to a lot of things expect for fry. Maybe you'd want to google Hydra to make sure if they won't be a "nuisance" in your fish tank. I've never had one before in an aquarium aspect.

    Texas Cichlid

Now, I have another fish (texas cichlid) I want to find home for. I'd prefer that for the texas cichlid go to a tank bigger than 55g. All I ask is for you to pay for the shipping and the costs of packing (box and so on). I'd feel better doing this instead of dropping off the Texas cichlid in...

    Got a betta as a gift...help :)

Just FYI, I keep my betta water temp 77. I don't think it has have to be at 80. My betta are thriving just fine at that temp. I have my betta in 1.5g hex tank with heater and a sponge filter. UGF will work but I'm not a big fan of UGF in a small set up. I would prefer ReverseUGF but...

    Aquarium Backgrounds

On my 10g, I used vaseline. I smeared the vaseline on the backside and then applied the background onto the vaseline. After I've done that, I'd get something flat and hard to "squee" the excess vaseline and air bubbles out. I had the background on for a couple of months and it looks great. No...

I'm thinking male... but the picture isn't very good. I have a male paradise fish and he has long flowing fins. Like this: But since then his fins has grown more, its longer and pointy at the ends. The female won't have the same long flowing fins, it will be shorter. I have yet to find a...
