    Yes Bill. I found out for sure that it was a form of bladderwort, not an algae but a plant. I'm going to put a huge prune on it, and see if I can't contain it for awhile...if not, I'll remove it.

    Thank you Harlock. It IS staghorn algae, so I guess I'll be pulling out as much as I can from the tank this afternoon, and giving the plants that it was attached to a weak bleach bath later in the week. Too bad, it was a cute little plant too.

    It was suggested that this might be a variation of bladderwort? But I haven't found any pics of bladderwort that looks quite like this type. :dog:

    Good morning; There is something that has sprouted in my work tank, a 10 gallon planted tank with white clouds, mollies, and platys. It looks pretty neat, but if it's something that is not good for the tank, I won't hesitate to yank it out. Can anyone help me ID this please??
