There are various species of Thorichthys that are all suitable for a 40b tank. I know neets are pretty nasty little fish like they don't know there real size. Convicts and there closely related brethren are suitable as well.

Polleni are hard to breed from what I read and both Texas cichlids are super common but the other one the synspillums looks pretty neat I'll have to read up on that one.
