why dont you go with a hand ful of some dither fish to liven up your large tank, maybe a schoolof giant daions or a school of rainbowfish if u got deep pockets and wanta colorful tank, cuz they are fast swimming fish that can liven up any tank, and wont put too much stresson your bioload...

BIGSTORM is right. once the jag grows up he will need a 75g all by himself, and if you dont give it to him, he will be sure to make sure its that way, by killing everything else. but since they are all small it may work in a 125g,but a 250g would be better for al those.

what kind and how many and what size of fish do you have in there, you could just have a lot of fish and the bacteria cant keep up.

if you only have a firemouth in a 30g you could do 1 blue acara, they grow slow and are very nice mostly peaceful fish, used to have a few firemouths in my brothers 55g with cons and a few blue acaras, they were always fine, till they got killed buy the cons when they bred.
