Get good light, good salt, and a decent skimmer. A small aquaclear HOB filter works fine to store filter floss and chemical media. Take it slow with your photoperiod while adding corals (dont have the light on if you have no corals, you'll just grow algae). Take it slow adding fish. Don't...
A friend of mine has a non-photosynthetic tank up in a 30 gallon biocube. He feeds at least twice a day, but usually more often then that. He is working on some form of constant feeder that will automatically feed frozen food. It looks pretty cool, I've always toyed with the idea of a...
A shot of my sumpless 90 gallon reef aquarium. Its about 3 years old as a 90 gallon, but I had a few smaller reefs going for a while before combining them. :D

Oh hehe, um I'm not too sure! I might stop by the nursery today and have a look. I will have to see what is available and then find out how much work it will require. ;)
Progress... inspiration from this tank is mainly from Japanese-style planted aquariums. I want to keep it minimalist, which is why I opted out of doing a background.
Here is Day 1, after creating the terrain and adding substrate. I used river pebbles as the base, which are large enough to...
Thanks! I do frequent Hawaiian Botancials, they have some amazing stuff, but not as many orchids as I would like! :D I will have to check out clouds orchids. cheers :)
Up here we use Vertex and Sybon. I swear they are made in the same factory with different labeling, both seem to work pretty well. They run about $60 CAD.
Wow I am so jealous of your orchids (well ok of your whole setup!). Its hard to find good stuff like that here in Canada. Good work, u must be very proud. :D
A new project! I haven't posted here in years, but I thought I would take the chance to make a build thread for my new paludarium. I am not exactly sure if it will be a palu and not a vivarium, but we will see I suppose! The tank is 32 gallons and there will be a small pond/stream feature...
Its cus there are hundreds of thousands of people watching the vids right now... sorry about that... its frustrating me a bit too. I find it works better late in the day, after Europe goes to bed and before Australia wakes up. :D
Wow I haven't posted here in ages, but I have come to call upon your assistance! My fiance Raf needs the best job in the world. You can help! Please view his 1 minute application video at the link below and give him a good rating! It would be much appreciated!
Thanks...
Dont stress overly about feeding it, put more of your effort into the proper lighting requirements and general tank health and water conditions.
I've had my bubble tip completely bleach and seemingly become a goner. It lost all its tenticles and hid under a rock for nearly a month. I had fed...
