I have 2 females that are way more agressive than most of my males.
Just keep it heavily planted w/ a lot of hidey spots. they should be fine.
I have ssen tanks w/ females and the queen will chase the others, but if all is well, she wont actually hurt them.
Just keep in mind that it is your responsibility to provide adiquate homes and a good life for every single one.
If for a second you doubt your cabability to do so, dont.
enjoy the fish you have, and focus on keeping them happy.
Thanks guys.
Im a Marvel Dork, but an orange and blue fish? C'mon
thats THE DENVER BRONCOS! LOL
All my females are Veils, so I dont think id have much luck selling the offspring.
I dont know about breeding bettas unless you can produce some really cool hybrids that will actually sell.
You need about 50-200 individual containers for all males immediatley.
food for 100+ new fish, room and time to keep them all healthy for 3-4months before they mature.
At that piont...
And the females
Domino, who is bigger than everyone but Doppleganger
and Psylocke, my littlest Betta
Each Betta is in their own 1.5gallon cube with cherry and ghost shrimp and a good deal of live plants.
After sellin my nano reef tank lights and over 1k worh of coral early 2009, i got out of the hobby.
I got guns, rc cars crawlers, rc planes all sorts of other stuff.
3 months ago I saw a betta that was half dead. I took him home, nursed him back and did something stupid.:shakehead:
