Pikes stay in the lower region of the tank and would therefore be territorial towards other bottom dwellers. Unfortunately corys think everyone is their friend! I'd keep a close watch over her.
I have no experience with brackish damsels, but almost every saltwater damsel is aggressive and often the colorful juvenile fish turns into a drab colored adult. There are other brackish fish that would be colorful and peaceful (such as knight gobies and orange chromides).
Has anyone experienced problems with the Evolve led light? I bought the Evolve 4 about 3 or 4 months ago and nearly half of the lights are out! Could water have gotten onto the light and caused this problem? I wonder if Aqueon sells replecments?
That's way too many fish for a 55 gallon tank. Tangs should not be overcrowded the same way many Malawi cichlids are. Also, it's not cythochromis, it's cyprichromis.
Sorry to bring up this old thread, but I'm hoping that uarujoey or someone else can tell me if it's possible to raise the water level in this tank? Would it impede the effectiveness of the filter? It's teh one thing that is stopping me from picking up this otherwise beautiful tank.
