I just went about 6 weeks ago and took a few cool shots myself :) It's a lot nicer than the Pine Knoll Shores. Ft. Fisher is much brighter and easier to take pics...and the layout is smoother.... Glad you had a good time :)

I agree. Most snakes eat their food whole, and a gecko wouldn't even want to eat him unless he was moving (as anyone can attest that has tried to feed a lizard dead crickets). Ten to one the gecko was eating the termites, not the man. And termites don't eat or live in people anyways...they eat...

Looks like a raccoon or a opossum to me. Very hard to tell without lower jaw and teeth.
