so i work at a floral shop and deliver for them , my question is we have curly willow branches brought inall the time used in arangements and such and i think it would look really good in my tank.
I was also told that it will root in water.

what type of lighting do you have with plants the levels dont matter as much until you add fish but the lighting plays a massive role with the plants and trace elements and ferts
anything that eats the plant matter will produce waste as well that you will have to clean up so you might as well just remove them by hand get involved

yeah the only prob that you would encounter is too much water movement for small fish but i "over"filter all my tanks and it makes things so much easier!
it was a marimo until i tied it to the rock so that the current wouldnt move it about so its a bit squished down right now but i think it liked that because its already grown around the string !
i cant wait till it grows in just got my co2 going and my order of flourish and excel now its just waiting already clipped the runners from my swords and planted those in front you can see them in the second pic:dance:
so i have been changing some things around in my tank a little
added some red ludwigia
3 more neons to make 5 for the troops
3 pepper corys
2 siamese algea eaters that when larger are moving to my indoor turtle pond
a good clumping of moss
pics before after then moss

try either boiling it a bit to force water into it if that doesn't work you could tie a rock to it and fill a trash can to let more water weight force its way in
if still it doesn't sink then it...
