If you have time and tools you can build aquarium stand,lighting,sump even protein skimmers,calcium-kalk reactors etc.If you choose DIY methods you can save big bucks.It`s easy to find DIY plans from internet.

Phytoplankon will do fine for filter feeding.

I have Nassarius Snails in my tanks(55g and 25g)They do pretty good job.I also placed low flow powerheads 3 inches above the sandbad.

Your angel is begging for food i guess :) Why don`t you feed more than usual for a week and see if it makes any difference.

just propegated my red-brown mushrooms and yellow gorgo . I use veil/net method for mushrooms.But there is a problem with that method.If you do not place mushrooms into strong current algea will grow beneath the vail.
