wen i first started i did the same, except put in 12 kilos of LR, the (4) damsels i put in survived it, and i didnt suffer no cycle (LR was already cured, really fresh infact)...the nasty part was gettin the damsels out and taking them back, as you just pretty much used them, ive cycled a few...

i am FULL of q's tonight!! my new tank is 48x20x24 and holds 83gallon (UK) plus a 40-45gallon sump. Will my resident foxface fight with a yellow tang if i add one. Would one thrive in a tank this size? Could you recommend any other tang? i really want a regal tang but i know it wont trive...

im in the UK, so i couldnt ship them if you are in the US. they havent multiplied, and are not near corals, so im keepin them as they look controllable. if something eats them, no big deal.

in my new tank i havent set the sump up yet, as i havent enuff water, but i was wondering, as there is no skimmer, are my fish gettin any air in the water? i am using some koralias to move the water and the surface is being broken, but just to make sure, i connected up an air pump. its not...
