    315G Plywood Tank Build

How much per gallon did the pond coat cost? The industrial stuff (permi-dry) is really expensive!!!! How much does it cover, you know how the suggest coverage doesnt always live up to real life conditions. I have been using permi-dry products on industrial applications for over 2 years and I...

can u list all the pros/cons of various filters/systems? Welcome all to comment

Vegetative Filter Pros: Near zero nitrates, traps and consumes particulate, low maintenance tank. Cons: Bad idea if you want plants in the tank. You have to design it yourself. You have to deal with all the issues that a sump creates like noise, energy consumption, lighting for the plants...

    A new build......

Hello all, I have been inactive on this site since getting into reefkeeping but I have the bug to build something again. This project will be very easy to reproduce and I could see lots of people being able to use this design as it is small yet big enough to be interesting. This will be a...

Man Finds -- and Kills -- 100-Year-Old Fish

Another great example of an inbred wisconsinite! How could you kill something like that? Why the hell is it legal to kill something that big? The should have a slot limit to protect the old girls.

Daily Log of Constructing a Tropical Fish Pond

Well I shouldn't lie, I am kicking around the idea of building another smaller pond for this house. It would be made cheaper and probably wouldn't look as nice but it would get the job done. It would have solar heating to keep the pond at 80F for my tropical fish.

Daily Log of Constructing a Tropical Fish Pond

    Tropical Pond?

As an avid bass fisherman I must disagree/agree with both sides of this argument. Largemouth bass live all the way from southern mexico to north of the canadian border. So to charecterise the bass is very tough. Research has concluded that the optimum temperature for bass growth and longevity is...
