Yes it is Old Orchard. It is a little more expensive, but I lke to think of it as paying for piece of mind. I am going to buy a piece tonight, since I dont have a QT tank, I guess I will just have to boil it. Thanks for all your help.

I have recently discovered a great LFS in my area. I love it there. They actually have a shark pond. I would try to explain it but wouldnt come close to doing it justice. My question is, that they sell driftwood right from there tanks, and I was wondering if anyone sees any potential problems...

I have recently come into possession of a 30 gallon tank, so I am going to try and get rid of my 10 gallon, I will be transferring all the contents from the 10 to the 30, so the only thing that will be left is the light. The tank itself is 1 year old, and is your standard 10 gallon all glass...

I think I am going to go with 3 more pearl danios, 3 more glowlights, and a pearl gouramis. I had a dwarf gouramis, and it died within 2 months, it was pretty bad i think it had internal parasites or something, it was like its stomach just exploded. Thanks for all you help everyone.

I should be able to just transfer everything over from the 10 to the 30, and not go through any cycle correct? I will be running the same filter plus an additional filter.

You could put a plant directly under the output that should slow down the current in your tank. A large rock would probably work also.

Do you have to do anything special to Bamboo to make it last in a tank?

Shouldn't you rinse the filter out with tank water, not tap water? The Chlorine in the tap water will kill all that bacteria you have built up.
