Not exactly sure, but I have a 33 with 1 gsp and a molly and with my aquatech 15 and aquaclear 70 I have average about 13 times/hour. seems to keep things nice and clean with no problems. Including my power head 30 my tank cycles 17 times in an hour. All fish are happy and healthy. hope this helps

water change every couple of days & continue feeding the tank until your cycle is complete. The cloudy water is a pretty good sign that it is certainly a cycle. i feed him either a small piece of shrinp, abut hte size of a dime or half a mussel. I take it out after about an hour so i don't think over feeding is my issue. Could be baby snails, but i've been dreeding snails for about a month now in another tank & haven't noticed anything like this.
