Lots of Java Moss for the bottom of the tank and for the the top i think Ricca works out very nicely. More the plants more young survive. Honestly you could probably just buy 2 females from a lfs and they may already be preggo. If you bought them from Petsmart they'd already be preggo no doubt.

Depends on the temp. of your tank. It can vary. I keep my tank around 76 degrees and i think it takes about 2-4 weeks for my RCS to have it's babies. Of course i can't really tell anymore, because once the population takes off there's always a berried female :P

i think you should do a species only tank of a nice schooling fish. like some type of small tetra in a well planted tank.

Yeah i'd let the tank run for a week or so before adding in fish and corals. but if you add about 50%+ of other tank water into it then it should be pretty set with live rock and sand and also maybe a little used filter media to make it more safe.

Nice! when i added in new substrate into my tank my cories kept getting in the way and it caused them to spawn lol.

well i dont think there are many dieseases shrimp can carry and if so then they cant be spread to fish most of the time. I'm not to sure about that but thats what i thought lol
