Is it a "BUILD" if there is no actual building involved?

This is a great idea and looks very nice. Why did you decide to do the spray-in liner? Aren't those tanks designed to hold water?

    My Pond

Thanks for the nice comments. Last year was the first winter it went through, and I didn't do anything as far as giving the fish cover. Once I trimmed the lillies back, the pond was essentially bare. We do have several redtail hawks around here, so I either got lucky, or they didn't see the...

    Agressive Behavior

Thanks for all of the replys. The next morning everyone was getting along fine. I had planned to find new homes for the comets after the pond was cycled; however, Steve told me that watonai and wakin both usually do well with the single tailed varieties of goldfish. I will keep an eye on...

    Agressive Behavior

First of all, I would like to thank those of you who referred me to Steve Hopkins at Rain Garden... I just received three incredible watonai from him. They are about 3'' long. As soon as I placed them in my 300gal pond, the 4 sarassa comets I've had in there to cycle it for the last 3-4...

    My Planted Tank

Thanks! The foreground plant is dwarf sagittaria. I originally planted it with glossostigma, but instead of it growing like the thick carpet that I wanted, it grew tall & lanky... so I pulled it all out and replanted the sag.

I am located in AL... USDA zone 7b. I am just getting the pond up & running. I actually just finished filling it up and plugging in the filter about an hour ago. I plan to get some lillys established and cycle with some feeder comets before buying anything too crazy. I am still in the...

    Got my 1st Jardini Arowana!!!!!!

ah... thanks. As you can see, I am not 100% up to speed on my arowanas! do they at least resemble to asian ones, or am I just crazy?

    My Planted Tank

There are two pieces of driftwood in there right behind the foreground plants... you can kind of make out the one on the right, but the one on the left is covered in java moss. I thought about removing them and replacing with a more "branchy" type of wood, but since it is so well established...

    Got my 1st Jardini Arowana!!!!!!

Nice fish. For some reason, I thought the asian arowanas were a protected species and illegal... is that not the case?

    Small Indoor Pond

This is my indoor pond. It's about 60 gal and houses a breeding colony of swordtails and a south american snake neck turtle. Surprisingly, the swordtails have managed to reproduce faster than the turtle can eat them; however, the population definitely dwindles when I don't keep the turtle fed...

    My Planted Tank

This is my first attempt at a planted tank. It has been running for around 2 years now. It's a 20H. I'm thinking about doing a larger one soon.
