inserted some cotton in the valve at air intake (look at the pic)...still has the micro bubbles intact. hopefully the skimmer breaks in soon... this mod reduced noise a loooooooooot....

any ideas on how to reduce the noise from air intake valve???

the collection cup is at the lowest position. i have not used this skimmer for a while...i have installed it just today. i took another pic few mins ago. seems like it's producing good amount of foam. what do you think? air intake is loud. are there any ways to reduce this noise?? Thanks!

guys...an udpate: i used maxijet 1200 and added a small plastic pipe attachement with a hole drilled into the pipe for an air intake. this pipe attachment goes before pin wheel in the pump...after this mod the unit is working OK...i will take some pics later...but i think it may be loud at...

Does anyone use RO BH-100 HOB skimmer with nano cube? the stock pump that came with the skimmer does not fit in the rear chamber. I tried using stock pump from nano cube for the skimmer but it is not producing microbubbles in the skimmer. any ideas??? pls advise. Thanks!
