Yup, not to mention the cories are from South/Central Americas which has more acidic waters (lower pH) while the multis hail from Africa's Lake Tanganyika which has a very alkaline waters. It's much easier to maintain a tank that has inhabitants that has similar water environment requirements.

Are they legal to ship into the USA? Hell, even if it is, I suspect Hawaii probably has a ban against it. Which sucks because my loaches cant keep up with the trumpets proliferating in my tanks. I'm limited to small loaches as I dont want them to start going after my smaller fishes.
