I tried some type of excel like product and it melted away all of my anacharis as well. Kind of sucks I had a bunch of really nice stems growing. Just doesed yeseterday and this morning everything was melted away.only just the tops growing but growing very bright green.

I must have mine a little warm then but mine has been set at 80-82 for almost 3 months now.

Just get Pool Filter Sand it is heavy and wont cloud up. Besides it can't take more then 10 mins for you to wash enough sand to put in that small of a tank.

I really don't know about the size I was assured by the seller that it was a 55 gal. I really don't think it is because its only 3ft long but it is really tall. I think it is a 46gal but am not sure. I like it and fish seem to like it so no problems yet :).

Does anyone know what the last yellow fish is? I thought maybe a lab but he is more of a golden yellow.

I feed mine quite a bit I guess and they always seem hungray. Tank size is a non issue so far and if I have problems in the future. They I can deal with it then. I do agree I am taking a chance with the kenyi.
