you have to find the wattage of the current bulb for that
and i am not quite sure about what light fowlrs need
i have a 24" t-5 fixture on my nano but i have corals i found it cheap at the LFS for 60 bucks
peppermints would be good
they will take care of aiptasia that may hitchhike with your rock
you could try some basslets or grammas
maybe a pair of cardinals
perhaps after you have a good supply of pod (six months or so) you could add a fairy wrasse in
some sort of sandsifter like a rainsford goby
I added mine when i put the LR in (i got some LR with tons of food for them already)
you could wait a while but as soon as a fish goes in you need a crew
a couple hermits
some astrea snail
some narssius vibex snails
some ceriths
maybe a couple nerites
a cleaner shrimp maybe BUT ONLY ONE
NO...
+1
but if you are in a hurry to get everything up to (general) par then get the hydrometer and return it once you get the refractometer.
there is no limit on how often or how much these can be used
refractometers are way more accurate and use less water
You want to get the API saltwater master kit
it has everything
you don't want the damsels or more than one fire shrimp either
the damsels will pick the others apart
and the fire shrimp will kill each other
if you are going to get a damsel add it at the very last no sooner
otherwise it will...
It is update time
FTS
the first good shot of my clown i have ever gotten
hammer with flash
my new fish the green clown goby hiding under the rock next to the nerite
Thanks!!!
the fish haven't affected the water quality at all really but one of those damsels HAS GOT TO GO
it is picking one all the stock.
i think it may go in the 2.5 gallon
once i catch it that is.
I see no problem in adding zoas now
AS LONG AS YOUR TESTS ARE GOOD!! but seeing as you're using cured LR and it has been set up for 3 months you should be fine
i picked up a cute branching green hammer today with six heads and two more coming
bright colors
will post photos when it opens up
which should be soon
I have a ten gallon with about 10 gallons and 10 pounds of LR and live sand
been up a while
levels are excellent
Maxi 400 (106 GPH)
skilter 250 (160ish GPH)
mini 404
t-5 lighting
would a hammer be ok in this setup
i have a nice spot planned near the top in the vertex of the flow...
