Stick with what you know... Save time and money on the learning curve.
I am trying to raise or breed some fish but shipping and selling are a different creature. Most fish stores get stock so cheap they don't care about quality around me... Pretty disappointing.
I drive 15 miles as it is for any pet store, lol. What's another 5 miles for a decent one. I drive 1.5 hours to visit Erik Dyke when I need to pickup fish too. I want quality!
As long as it takes... I usually leave the lights off for 2-3 days when i add new fish. The more skiddish the species the longer i keep it dark. In the wild they hardly have any light, it's only for us to see them better.
Hope this helps, just be patient and let them get settled.
First thing.. Lights out!
They may be stressed from the new tank parameters but certainly by the new tank mates. ease them in with some patience, they will appreciate the darkness.

Shipping fish is not cheap. Shipping fish CORRECTLY is even more expensive! This sellers track record speaks for itself but I will say he has been awesome to talk with since I joined and hope to buy from him.
Not sure what part of the country you live in theemon but if in the future a seller...
More fish.. maybe.
Adding a background wrap to the tank and some kind of tall decoration, like a piece of driftwood or other structure, would add depth to the tank. It would also contrast to the fish you already have.
Painful all the way around... I say send him off for a weekend and rehome what you don't want.... Besides it's time for a fun re-stocking job. That is the most fun for me.
I see some colonies of peacocks or flashes of yellow labs and acei purple. Maybe some beautiful haps.. something of size...
Kill the lights.
Leave the heaters and and any HOB filters on the smaller tanks, keep water moving via filter/bubbler on the larger tanks.
It's been mentioned but the smaller tanks are more sensitive as they lose heat faster and cannot handle accumulated waste as easily as the larger tanks.
