Nevermind, after I came back from walking the dog his mouth is magically back to normal and he's breathing again! I think the shrimp just scared him.

I've had this eel for a year or so, and he's been perfectly healthy.
Two days ago i added a cleaner shrimp. Today the shrimp finally came out of the rockwork, and was hanging out near the eel.
He jumped on the eel and tried to clean him several times, but the eel didn't seem too happy about it...
Last night I did not remove the net because I wasn't going to be home when the lights turned on in order to monitor the clownfish's behavior. When I got home and looked at the tank (2 hours after the lights turn on), the clownfish somehow managed to get out of the net and was behind the conch...
So an hour after putting the net around the conch with the clownfish in it, the Flame Angelfish came out and has been swimming around the entire tank all day normally, he even ate some flakes. So the clownfish has been seeing him all day. He has made no attempt to get out of the net "house...

Won't the ammonia kill all the stuff on the rocks too anyway?
On September 20th I received 45 lbs of live rock, 4 big pieces all around the same size. It was 5 days in transit. I put it in freshly made saltwater right after scrubbing off all the smelly dark spots when I received it.
3 days after receiving it, I did a 100% water change.
