10 Gal Stocking, mini-fish

The boyfriend wants to get a 10 gallon, plant it to a forest, then do cherry shrimp and some fish. He wants glowlights, but I cautioned him that they may eat the cherries. Then I saw a store that sells Dwarf clown killifish, and he's got his heart set on those now. I think they're a better idea.
Same store carries pygmaeus and habrosus cories. I think he likes them, but he's also shown interest in kuhli loaches.
The questions are:
Will the killis snack on the cherries? I don't think the pygmy/habro cories will, but will the kuhlis?

The kuhlis has in my experience. The pygmy wont.

Try stuff like boraras. I have then and they never eat shrimp ever.

there are many cool small fish out there that will work. i would go with the smaller cories then kuhli loaches too.

I just added 12 more Chili Rasboras to my 10 gallon making 24. I also have 5 pygmy cories and 5 amano shrimp. With lots of plants. Everyone is happy.

the chili rasboras? there real name is Boraras brigittae. i think http://www.franksaquarium.com/ had them.

Invertz Factory has some too. Frank was not shipping because of the cold when I wanted mine. I have grown very attached to them. Talk about small bio load.

You can find the guy who runs it online at the planted tank forum, he's a good guy and has a good stock ( thought I've only bought shrimp and snails from him)
