10 gallon + 60 gallon filter yes or no?

Should I or shouldnt I? I am making a hospital tank and I dunno if this is a good Idea or bad Idea because all I have besides that brand new 60 gallon filter is a old 10 gallon filter. Let me know Aquaria Central Elite! Please and Thank you.

Ahhh I see where I messed up its a ten gallon tank and I dunno if I want to put the 60 gallon filter or the 10 gallon filter on it.

10g filter will be best since the 60g filter will make it hard for the fish to rest and heal.

Which type of filter and what brand? Overfiltration is a good thing, especially in a hospital/Qt tank. As long as the flow isn't too much I would go with that.

What kind of filter is it?The 10 gallons I have set up all have enough filtration for 75g,according to the manufacture of the filters.If the hospital tank is going to be set up permantely,I would use the bigger filter.If it is just going to be set up on a need to use basis,I would go with the smaller filter.
