Hello,

As most of you don't know, I ended up selling the tank that I have in my signature. I sold it due to financial situations, but I was able to rebound with a 10 gallon with all the equipment off craigslist for $15. I found all the rocks and did some initial aquascaping of the tank. Please tell me what you guys and gals think so far..

It is supposed to be an Asian River Biotope. The rocks aren't from Asia and the betta is in the wrong biotope, but yet, give me a little room to work with. I'm leaning towards flame moss and some shrimp to go outside the box a little.

Just messing around with the camera settings, but here it is:

Looking good so far.

Asia is a BIG place and they have all sorts of rocks. Just tell people they are special lucky Chinese rocks and they wont know the difference.

Both Betta and White Clouds come from Asia. OK they may not live in the same biotope, but they are both Asian and can live together, so you can get away with that.

Get some moss and maybe a couple of floating plants in there and it will be looking good.

You dont need huge amounts of cash to keep a nice aquarium, if you keep it simple.

Good Luck

Ian

Why bother calling it a biotope? I think 'fish tank' or 'aquarium' sound just as nice.
