10g Planted

Hello all I just setup up 10g planted aquarium recently and today I was at the lfs and I seen ghost shrimp and red clawed crabs and I really like them both and I was wondering which is easier to care for, how many could I add, and is there any fish i could keep with either one? I dont think you could but could the crabs and shrimp be kept together?

Oh and Im going to add more plants.

Ok so I just saw that the crabs tear up plants and need some open area out of water so I think I will setup a seperate housing for crabs. So I will go with the shrimp so how many could I keep in the tank , and are there any fish that wont be a snack to them?

Neon tetras and danios would probably be okay.

I kept 8 neon tetras with 20+ ghost shrimp in a 10 gallon and did not have any issues.

Alright so white clouds would probally be ok? I love them so much screw neons lmao

red claw crabs need a 20 gallon with a land area and brackish water.

I may be confusing your phrasing but no, there are no fish that would become food for the ghost shrimp. As for fish that eat ghost shrimp, well ghost shrimp are CHEAP. But I would think most small schoolers, like white clouds, should do fine.

Yay, I would like to find some of the golden white clouds but I have never seen in any lfs

Try a reputable online site like liveaquaria.com. I've also heard a lot of good stuff about aquabid but have never used it myself (yet).
