natural colour.
they are just a fish that used to pop up rarely in the hobby, but are now showing up more often (and being bred by hobbyists everywhere).
I got this guy about a year ago from a tank of very colourful wild caught fish.
I am deeply regretting not buying three or four of them..but I don't have the room for that many in the tank he is now and he wasn't all that cheap either ($50 canadian- so 4 of them would have been $200)

what is interesting is he has really coloured up since I bought him.

He is still very handsome 12VM...
isn't it amazing how we take fish home from the LFS and they color up right away....wonder why that is....hhhmmm....better water conditions maybe....
