I'm considering these fish in a 140g tank, the tank is 72.5 x 18.5 x 24.5. The fish I want to put in it are:
*1 Texas Cichlid
*1 Oscar
*1 Green Terror
*1 Black Belt Cichlid
*1 Pleco
*And maybe a Severum
Could this setup work? All the fish would be introduced as 1" specimens.

I'd ditch the oscar and severum, both of them are actually quite peaceful as large cichlids go. The texas, green terror, and black belt can all be pretty nasty. You might be able to get one more medium cichlid in there, but I would leave it with those three and the pleco.

in agreement with FRASMESHIFT in not gettin a oscar or severum they are both kind of mild mannered cichlids as compared to the black belt, GT, & texas

im assuming u will have a common pleco also?

maybe a convict you could add or something like that maybe a JD but thats may be asking too much. IMO

Yep, the Blackbelt would give the O and severum a case of chop sake death and the GT would scare them to death. :) If you go with the severum. I would go multiple severums, no Os and go with gold and green together. Makes for a nice tank!
