i know your discouraged, but id seriously reconsider the plywood thing...
since it was actually able to be taken apart, im guessing you didnt liquid nail the joints.... and i would skip the fiberglass part... i dont think id try to salvage the wood...
but.... 60.00 for wood.... 100.00 for epoxy, and 120.00 for glass (+shipping)
thats still alot cheaper than buying enough acrylic to do it..
the epoxy i used sticks like mad to wood. I pryed a piece of my overspill off of some plywood, and it took wood with it (see my last post for link)
i considered acrylic, but home improvement stores (around here) do not carry anything near thick enough to build an aquarium from..
for a 24x24x72 aquarium, youd need 1/2 inch thick acrylic. $277.72 for a 4x8 sheet +shipping and for an aquarium of this size, youd need more than 1 sheet... but it really depends on how big ya wanna go...
