i cant seem to find them anywhere, im assuming they are out of production. does anyone know where i can find one. i didnt have much luck with ebay...

Correct, the 16GB iPod touch was a previous generation model. Although if you can wait, the iPod touch lineup will most likely be refreshed by September. The sizes will probably be increased.
if i cant get a 16 than ill buy a 32. could i use an iphone instead but just not get service for it? or would that not work? because a old iphone sure is cheaper.
