That is a mass of floating stems to help soak up excess nutrients from the cycle. Mainly hygro tiger, polysperma and pennywort.
I will for sure. got a few new heaters to put in and Im gonna get some black felt to cover the back of the tank.

No fish in mind particularly yet. Still cycling.
Thanks for the compliment. I spent hours trying to place the wood where it looked the most natural. It wasnt too hard since I have minimal rockwork to interrupt the lines of the wood.
