Ok, so I have been keeping reef tanks for about 6 yrs now and I really like them but electricity is getting very expensive here in florida so I was considering a switch to freshwater.
I was planning to use my brand new acrylic 180 aquarium that has a built in center-back overflow and drilled for a closed loop for a Bass and pan fish tank. The sump could be anything, wetdry whatever. I had bought a 100g rubbermaid stock tank for the sump on the reef and a 50g rubbermaid stock tank for the sump. I could use these or return them.
I had planned to buy a Sequence Dart for the closed loop pump with a Oceans Motions 4 way which I will still probably do.
What does everyone think about keeping largemouth bass and pan fish in an in-wall 180 (6'x2'x2')?
Thanks for any help you can give.
Mike
