will the co2 in my tank continue to bring down my ph or will it stop at one point?

It will stop at what ever level the CO2 gets too. If the amount of CO2 injected goes down the PH goes up, if the amount increases the PH will go down.

rich is right. the more co2 in the water the lower the ph.

I wouldn't worry too much about the ph dropping as long as it's not extreme like below 6. It should stop at some point. Just keep an eye on your fish to make sure they're not gasping at the surface for air.
