I can completely understand your views on the matter and I throroughly respect them. I hope I did not offend you or anyone else.
2 Bettas 1 tank

I put my Gourami in the tank.. which I had already said. They are getting along fine in there together. Hopefully this continues for another week or so til I get everything situated 
actually.. i set up my moms 29 gallon tank... we decided that our other 2 bettas were lonely in their homes, (and the $15 dollars i spent to set up her a betta in a vase that she decided no less than 5 days afterwards to discontinue using) and we put them into the tank. they were kept in extra breeder tanks we had. we released one of them into the tank, but, he was a bit aggressive, so he want back into the breeder and let the other one go.
one day, i came out, and both of them were swimming happily together. they would hide in the same plant together, nose to nose. they lived like that for quite a while, but, sadly, they were infected with ich, and both of them died within a day of each other.
