Hello,
I have a 2 Gal tank with great filtration and aeration and light. It has about an inch of small pebbles on the bottom and a few artificial plants. Right now I just have 1 otto in there. Does anyone know any fish that would be good for this tank. The fish must fill these requirements:
-Cool
-Colorful
-Semi-small
-Gets along with ottos
-Can live in a 2 Gal tank

yup, betta would be about perfect. i have mine in an unfiltered 1.5 gallon bowl and he's perfectly happy. i just do a 100% water change once a week.

I have my Betta in a 2 gallon sitting on my office desk...perfect fish for a 2 gallon.

There is only one fish that can fit in a 2 gallon tank very well, the least killie/dwarf live bearer, Heterandria formosa, aka the least killie or dwarf live bearer. These guys are hard to come by, these are usually a special order from your pet shop but they are great fish.
The males reach about 1/4 of an inch long at full adult hood and the females are larger at an inch. They are very peaceful fish and thrive in tiny tanks. I own a small colony right now in my 5 gallon. I plan on getting more soon for an outdoor container. But they do well having plants like hornwort floating on the top of the tank and they eat crushed fish flakes.

Somehow Tric....I knew you'd come along....lol......

I would definitely go with the least killi rather than betta....only because a betta is such an obvious choice for smaller tanks...and going with something out of the ordinary appeals to me....not to mention that you can have a small school of them..and THAT would be cool !
